1. Awareness and a Plan
Learn everything you can about marketing your restaurant as fast as you can. It’s more important than your social life, babysitting your relatives, swapping hours for dollars or most of the other worthless, non-productive things most restaurant owners do every day that has cost you wealth in your life. This includes all the activities you undertake that aren’t making you a penny.
You need to get your ducks in a row. You need to write out a consistent plan that you can implement and use going forward. And you should have goals written in there. It should be a strategic plan around your business and how you can grow your business. It should include personal goals as well as business goals. 2. Implementation, take “Massive Action”
While you’re acquiring the basic marketing skills, you must begin a course of action to turn it into income quickly, and grow that income to the point it will fix your mistakes and allow you to try things you never would have before.
Start with the simple promotions that are proven winners. Capture existing customers’ contact information, communicate to them, run a promotion based on something going on Mothers Day/Pollen, produce a regular newsletter, etc.
You can and should do as many of the cheapest promotions you can at the same time. One does not hinge on or depend on the other…You don’t need experience in one to do the other. But you do need to start small, test and measure because…
You Do Need Cash Flow
And you can do that with marketing! I teach reinvesting the profits from one promotion for the next, each time expanding on your successes.
Here’s the “trick”: do all of these things at the same time. Right now. Fast. It’s simultaneous, not sequential. The key is Massive Action!
3. Automation
